More of fun, spunky, and sassy Alex!

I took Alex to a house near my work that has been abandoned since it experienced a house fire that got out of control. To me it is just so beautiful and so interesting that it has been over a year and it hasn’t been touched, so today Alex is the beauty that can brighten it up, and give it hope that one day it can be restored and become a home for a family or a few friends.

Another fight with the balloons ^_^

And now just having some fun with the balloons since they didn’t want to cooperate for us most of the day! ^_^

So finally trying to get back into the swing of things when it comes to having photography back in my life. I was majorly slacking as of the past year with my shoots being few and far between, which is really kind of sad :0{ Anywhoo I was planning to do a photoshoot with my sister this past weekend, and have her good friend Karly do her hair and make up, but plans got changed a bit and instead I pushed forward my idea with my biffer’s younger sister, Alex! XD It was a little disasterous on my part because I wasn’t totally prepared on how I wanted to poise her and such, but she actually was a huge help doing her own thang XD and I think it helped the concept?! You guys can be the judge of that! My main idea was that there is beauty in everything. Those places that you overlook, because in the world’s eyes, its run down or not their definition of beautiful. Well here, Alex is the beauty, vibrance, and fun you can find in everything, even if it doesn’t seem like its there in the beginning! XD Hope you enjoy these, as much as we did! Oh and Karly Cicchino still was a part of our day! The fun and funky make up is to her credit! ENJOY! XD

Fighting the balloons…who will win?!

Awww poooo! I cut off her feet, but her face was just too cute!

You will do as I say!!!!

And I got flair! ^_^

Some close ups of Alex’s funky make by Karly Cicchino ^_^ <3

More to come soon!

After Glow…..

Today I went out with Jackie, my boyfriend’s younger sister, and had some photography fun :D !  Jackie has faboosh curly brown hair, and I had this vision of putting her in my bridesmaid dress & earrings from Agnes’ wedding, because I had this greek gooddessy theme for Jackie, from like months ago! Well I finally got it together and asked Jackie if she was game to model for me, she said yes, and out we went this weekend! It’s quite amazing that I am posting the pictures on my blog, all up to date & like the day of that I took the pictures….I haven’t done something like this in uber long! Jackie did a great job in the cold weather, trekking through thorny wooded areas and hay-ie, muddy, and dangerous sides of highways! I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking and editing them! Hopefully I didn’t scare Jackie away because she did a great job modeling for me!  Sláinte!

Laughing at my photographing face XD

Getting it back together :D

I have been friends with Michelle for 10 years now and we have made it through college, pledged a sorority together, entered into the real world and stayed friends through out it all! I was there when Michelle got engaged to Josh, who is wonderful, but maybe I am partial because he is a ginger like me?! haha Just kiddding! but anyway getting back to the story at hand. I was a bridesmaid at their wedding, I was there for their “we are having a gingercube” news and now Nolan is finally here! So we had a little photography fun with him when I came to visit! But for a little while he was not having any of our nonsense of being all up in his face snapping pics, but when he was ready he took some cutie pie photos! :D He is so tiny I could just squeeze him to bits! Enjoy!

A few photos of his nursery XD

I can’t say I agree…but hey who am I to judge?! ;D

And the Baby Shower gift that came a billion months late with a little touch of Netters :D

Some of the vendor’s that Michelle had play a big part in her second anniversary were Josh Lynn, Elle Ette, Touch of Class DJs, John Borja, Exquisite Bride, Blossom and Bee, Sensibly Sweet NJ, Simply Stylish and Simply Sweet . Here is the rest of the fun! Enjoy! :D

And here’s to many more anniversaries! :0* Pink Comb Salon is located 89 Franklin Avenue, Nutley NJ 07110 (973) 320-5650

I had the pleasure of photographing Pink Comb Salon’s Second Anniversary. I have known the owner Michelle Loconte for over two years now and I am so proud and happy for everything that she has accomplished with her career and salon. I was lucky enough to photograph the first anniversary party….which was awesome, so having the opportunity to be there again for the second anniversary was even more fabulous! If you look back at last year’s party you will see how much the salon and the party itself has evolved! Michelle has a wonderful staff, atmosphere and work ethic, and it shows….just look for yourself! Congrats to Michelle and Pink Comb Salon on all your accomplishments….here’s to many more! Enjoy!

Edible Cookie Dough Balls….No Salmonelle like mommy always says!

You know you want the privilege to walk the Pink Carpet! :D

Pink Candy Bar…so pretty you don’t even want to eat it

Awwww lil pink comb’s….also too cute to eat!

More Party Fun to come….stay tuned :D

Light Outside…..

Back in April last year I got together with Julienne to take some fun pictures. Well Julienne left us here to fend for ourselves in New Jersey while she went off to stinky California! Just kidding! But I am glad I got to get together again with Julienne when she came for a short visit! Of course her make up was totally faboosh and she looked gorg! We were pressed for time, with stinky work keeping me there late and you know the sun setting and all! Pshhhh! lmao! Enjoy!

Jacy & Tiffany

Back in April I got together with Sylvia Alequin Bosolasco to help shoot a wedding with her…check out her awesome work at Sylvia Bosolasco Photgraphy or at her new site Sylvia Inez Photgraphy

This couple got married down the shore and they had a beautiful day for their ceremony on the beach. They were a lot of fun to work with and were very relaxed through out the day. They really got into taking the fun shots after the wedding and having a good time at their reception to celebrate their day. I wish Jacy and Tiffany all the best with their future together and starting their own family and memories together! Enjoy!

Sharon & Moe’s Wedding

I can’t even come up with an excuse other than I have been such a bloggin’ slacker! I am so behind on my photo blogging’ its ridiculous and someone should punch me in the face for it! Sharon & Moe got married 6 months ago and I am just posting their wedding now?! At the very least I hope it helps them relive that day like it was yesterday! They had a wonderful day full of love & creativity! Everything about their day was an original idea or piece of art created by one of them, which I think shows just the beginning of what they will create for their lives as husband and wife! All the best to Sharon & Moe! Enjoy!
